Magazine Project

A women centric snowboard magazine.

For this Project the goal was to create our own magazine, we were able to pick the genre, the stories and even the name of the magazine. I have always loved snowboarding so that’s the topic I picked for my magazine. Specifically centered around women snowboarders and all they have to offer and all they have achieved. I also decided to name the magazine Steezy which originated from the snowboarding community, meaning cool, stylish, clean and cool. The description of this magazine is, “A girl centric snowboard magazine: This is where extraordinary women are noticed for making big contributions to the snowboarding community. They are constantly working and bettering themselves by training and enjoying life everyday. STEEZY invites you into the snowboarding world and the experiences of the most extraordinary and inspirational women of our time. This you and others to be the best at snowboarding as he can beBringing you tips and tricks and the” This project was probably the most difficult in the sense that it was the first time I had ever worked with such large bodies of text. Although it was also one of my favorites because of that reason. I loved being able to play and design with so much type. I also learned Indesign through this project which previously I had struggled with.
