Honey Pot Pottery

This logo was one of my first freelance projects for a small pottery business. My client provided me with a name, Honey Pot Pottery, and some rough ideas of what she wanted in the logo. We talked about a terracotta pot with honey pouring out, with the addition of a honey stick and bees around the top. I chose this font for the logo because it felt warm, friendly, and smooth. I chose to add color, playing with them until I found something that I felt had the right amount of contrast and all went together. Lastly, I added the white font behind the black to make it readable and stand out.
